How the practitioner-controlled workflow works

  1. Step 1

    The law office controls the matter

    A participating firm decides whether a supporting statement may help a matter and how the workflow is run under firm control.

  2. Step 2

    The applicant participates where the workflow requires it

    Under firm guidance, the applicant may identify intended authors or provide applicant-authored materials when the workflow calls for it.

  3. Step 3

    Each statement author participates separately and confirms their own statement

    Authors provide their own account and observations, then confirm their own statement.

  4. Step 4

    The attorney reviews and decides whether and how to use the material

    The attorney reviews the coordinated material and decides whether and how to use it under professional judgment.
