ASN coordinates applicant-led witness requests under firm guidance, structured first-hand factual intake, clarification, exact-version approval, and a traceable preparation record. The attorney decides whether and how to use the assembled statement.

ASN is operating a supervised pilot with participating law offices. Availability varies by workflow and is shown in the supported-workflows portfolio. ASN is not an open public affidavit-preparation, sending, payment, or notarization service, and invited firms do not self-serve an uncontrolled attorney account.

How the workflow works

  1. Step 1

    The firm invites the applicant

    A participating firm selects a supported matter and sends the applicant an invitation with firm guidance. The firm does not treat “invite the witness directly” as the canonical path.

  2. Step 2

    The applicant creates an account and completes the case

    The invited applicant creates an ASN account, completes case setup, and coordinates witness requests. The applicant does not answer for the witness or write the witness’s testimony.

  3. Step 3

    The applicant invites selected witnesses under firm guidance

    The applicant identifies and invites selected witnesses. Each witness receives a personal secure link and does not need an ASN account.

  4. Step 4

    Witnesses independently supply first-hand facts

    Each witness supplies first-hand facts through the personal link. ASN structures those facts without adding new circumstances.

  5. Step 5

    Staff or counsel reviews and may request clarification

    Firm staff or counsel reviews the assembled statement and may request specific factual clarification instead of restarting the full intake.

  6. Step 6

    The attorney approves one exact version

    The attorney approves one exact version. Later textual changes require another review and approval.

  7. Step 7

    The firm selects export and decides use

    The firm selects an export and decides whether and how to use the document. Signature, notary, filing, and legal strategy remain with the firm.

Explicitly excluded uses

  • Complaints, grievances, or denunciations
  • Allegations or adverse statements against third parties
  • Reports of wrongdoing or criminal conduct
  • Crime-victim, trafficking, or domestic-violence narratives as product purpose
  • Fraud reporting, whistleblowing, or law-enforcement cooperation workflows
  • Truth verification or fact-finding investigations
  • Legal advice, legal sufficiency determinations, or filing decisions
  • Outcome prediction

What ASN does not decide

  • Whether a supporting statement is needed for a matter
  • Whether an author’s statement is truthful
  • Whether material is legally sufficient
  • Whether or how counsel files or uses any statement
  • Any immigration outcome
