Outreach and processing for each witness
If a recommender clearly refuses to participate, behaves abusively or is obviously trolling, we refund $15.00 of this $25.00 outreach fee (or the proportional amount if you used a discount). In that situation you effectively pay $10.00 for our outreach and screening work.

If a witness doesn't respond or doesn't complete notarization, any unused notary and gratitude amounts reserved for them are refunded to you.
If a witness explicitly refuses, is abusive, or is clearly trolling, we also refund $15.00 out of the $25.00 outreach fee for that person (or the proportional amount if a discount was applied).
💡 Annual Membership: 3 Recommenders in First Case
Includes up to 5 successfully completed requests per year. Only completed requests that meet the requirements count toward your limit.

Acts of Solidarity
Some witnesses choose to waive their gratitude payment as a gesture of support. If they do, that amount is refunded to your deposit. Many immigrants report being moved by the unexpected kindness of their recommenders.
